Shadow

We had a lovely Thanksgiving and the weather was really nice! The food good, company good (just us lol) but we all had a nice time. Late in the evening we were cleaning up and taking out trash when Shadow ran out. Now for those of you that know us you know this wasn't strange. He would climb my back to get out of the house to get to the window. He was crazy like that. You couldn't keep him inside. Well he never came home. I knew something was up cause that was unlike him and it was starting to get cold. Well we went to bed but still no Shadow. Unfortunately, someone didn't see him and he didn't get out of the way fast enough and got hit by a car. I feel so guilty. had i looked for him would I have found him in time? Would he be ok? Would he be home with us when he passed away? It's hard to tell. The poor thing.

Trouble has been having a hard time adjusting and Katie has been really upset. So this is how these 2 have been more than normal. She picked him up and laid down and he made himself comfy! Thank God for Trouble becuase without him the kids would be lost.

Pig Roast

This was Josue after we got home. Can you tell the beer was a little fun for him? lol He's not a drinker, plus he wouldn't eat so.....A little tipsy he got. But he was in good spirits and just talked our ears off. Jose in the background was like ok, whatever lol. Of course, he was holding Lily but not for long let me tell you. I took the pic and ran lol.

The others are pictures of around the farm. Just wanted to show those views and things. The band in front of the farm house, a little barn/house thing and then the girls are friends of mine and daughters of Maggie. Lisa and Emily are Maggies daughters and Laureen is a friend of Lisa's. They went out there to work to make a little extra cash :)

Katie's Feast

For the last couple months they have been studying Missouri History. This past few weeks it was about the different Indian tribes that Lewis and Clark met on their trek down the Mississippi. Well Friday they had a feast to celebrate their finish just like the Indians did with the pilgrims. It was a good time. They had ham, turkey and a whole spread of wonderful dishes all the parents brought to the feast. These are the pics I took. No one else brought their cameras and I should have taken more of the whole class for the teacher. Hindsight is 20/20 they say lol But these are of Katie. The first 2 is Katie reading what she wrote that she's thankful for. The teacher is the lady standing behind her in the blue shirt. That's Mrs. Quinn.

Just some things I got ;)

You know i put these in to be uploaded in a certain order and they never go the way I plan lol. They are just some random shots :) This is Uncle Jose and Lily. She's checking him out. It's funny cause her daddy is Uncle Jose's twin brother and she's never gotten them confused :)

Mommy pick me up and put that stupid camera down!

That stupid squirrel tried to bring a doll dress up the tree. he just sat there trying to get a good handle on it but couldn't. It dropped down about a minute later. This is a pretty high tree so he almost had it!

Daddy and his baby

She loves her daddy! She's always climbing up in his arms. It's so funny to watch them together :)

Halloween and more

The kids had a good time. Wasn't the most busy trick or treat place we've been but no one was doing anything over here it sucked. We didn't have money to spend on costumes this year but they made do with what we had.
