Loving Garnier right now! As a Bzzagent agent :) I get to try interesting and new products all the time. I was accepted into the Garnier Olia campaign! Got my coupon the other day and decided to try it! All I can say is wow!! Recently I had shaved my head so my hair is still really short and i was a tad worried about dying my scalp and skin. But the greys were showing and well who wants that? This was really easy to use, the directions were easy to follow and no messy drips!! It is very easy to control where the product goes and how much goes on. Plus it covers the few greys I have without drying and damaging my hair like other dyes! So do go out and give it a try! It's well worth the money spent. Best home dye kit I've ever really used!! And I've used a lot! Salon quality at a cheaper price to do yourself at home!

Boy oh boy!!!!!!

My house smells soooooo good right now!!!!! I belong to http://bzzagent.com which is a site where they send you products, you test them and then bzz (tell) them about your experience oh yea and you tell others! That's what I'm doing right now telling you all!! And this is one I'm super excited about! Love walking into my home and having it feel warm, comfortable with good smells and good people!! Well usually I can't do the sprays and things they give me headaches but I tried the apple and spice one (red can) boy was it awesome!!!!! It smells so good light, airy with just enough smell but not to much. Plus when I went back into the bathroom where I had sprayed some over an hour later it still smelled like apples!! This is a must try thing! It's not expensive either. The sprays with the starter kit are a buck a piece there, they have different scents too. I got a diffuser thingy which is attractive and sits in the middle of the living room (front and center) i can smell the pineapple mangos from here!! it's not strong either! So thank you Glade and for you folks the next time you are needing something like this please try these!! they were awesome!

Yes her father and I allowed her to get 3 piercings. Yes I know some don't approve of that. But she's my daughter not yours. Not all 13 year olds could handle them. She can, she also earned them. She's been begging for 2 years, and yes I know 11 would have been really bad. We told her to wait till 13 for her nose and 14 for the other 2. But well we are 4 months shy of 14. We had the money, she earned the right to have them and is taking excellent care of them. She also didn't pick out huge things that are gaudy or anything. The lip one is a little big but it's the smallest they had. In 4 months she can change it to a little one or a ring or something she likes. But we told her already nothing guady or in your face if you know what I mean.

Yesterday, she went to school for the first time with them. The teachers and staff said nothing at all to her. She's still the same kid, just with a few more holes after all. But some of the kids were cruel. Jealous much? Yep, one kid said she was now ugly. Well, maybe you don't like piercings but she does. Few told her she was lucky and that was awesome! But one kid told her she had a 3 piercing limit and if she got anymore even if it's her ear she was going to pull it out! Aggressive much? Sounds like a kid wanting to go to juvie if you ask me. I don't think this particular kid would do it but it still pissed me off that was said. Katie has been wanting these piercings like I said for over 2 years now. This girl and her sister have been pretty cruel to katie and have called her a copy cat (only one sister has her nose pierced) the other wants her lip done. Actually, katie told this sister she wanted it done a long time ago and I remember her saying no she didn't want it but of course with growing up a bit now she does. So all the sudden katie is a copycat. Uh how? Katie got it done first. And who cares? 2 or 3 people can have the same tastes as each other. Doesn't make it a copy cat. Katie has been begging for a guitar since she was about 5 years old. Seriously. BEGGING! this girl had no interest until she found out katie did. Now for her defense, she's doing rather good with it from what I hear. I'm proud of her. Music and instrument playing is good for all kids. Keeps them out of trouble, gives them something positive to strive for. but she got her guitar first. And rubbed it into Katie's face. Well we didn't want to trade, and didn't want a used one for her. She got a bottom line Fender, but it's a fender!! Katie is so excited with her Fender. That's one of the top guitars other than a Dean. But Katie got the fender and she abosolutely loves it! She's learning on her own till we can afford lessons. they aren't cheap.

Well that's my rant, Just blowing off steam. These two really should get it together. they both have that rocker look (katie has had it for years and this other girl has kind of migrated into it for her love of music) they both like the same bands (avenged sevenfold, etc) and they are both learning guitar. they should put a band together! Instead of fighting with each other and being jealous of each other!

Kids, i swear sometimes I just don't understand them lol

Cindihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06357714153500683596noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24432708499016748.post-71153119774601866382012-02-08T20:05:00.002-06:002012-02-08T20:08:48.337-06:00wow!

Gone for a long time! But with baby Tyler she's got it right on the money! How many times have I been frustrated, under stress and duress. Have I ever beat my kids? HELL NO!!! I believe in spanking nothing is wrong with that. beating i don't agree with and punching a baby all over till he dies and hiding his body in a cemetery and going back to sleep? Hell no! Why not just let him cry for a bit? I remember being frustrated and not even being able to take a shower when Katie was a baby! Stressed out about to loose it but did i hurt her? No I called my sister Kathleen who came to my house and watched her for a little bit in my home so I could take a shower and destress! I called for help! I still get stressed and frustrated come on i have 5 kids not just one. I lean on Josue and he me! I needed to destress the other night. I gave the baby to him, told katie to watch the others and took a bath!!! YOU DON'T BEAT THEM TO DEATH AND HIDE THEIR BODIES AND GO BACK TO SLEEP THEN CALL THE POLICE AND SAY HE'S MISSING! She had an entire support system! more of a support system than I ever saw! Being a single mom is hard but she lived with her mom! She went out the night before someone watched Tyler for her! She was able to get out and get away I never did and never did I think of hurting her! Leave him in his crib and turn the radio up a bit (not a lot) but enough to be able to relax for a few minutes and get yourself together. Don't kill your children! Crisis nursery we have one here in st louis! Call them!!! Get someone to help you! Don't have sex if you can't handle a baby! She loved him? How can you beat someone you love to death? She's a nut job and needs to be put away for life! Never to have kids again! harsh? not in my opinion and nothing anyone is going to say is going to change that opinion!

Others are saying she snapped and didn't realize what she did till it was over. Yea? She did? A baby? Usually a babies cries upset mom, did his cries not shock her out of it? Uh huh? She disposed of him like a piece of trash! Did she think she wasn't going to get caught? Why does this bug me so much? I know I don't know them and it should not but it's close to home (15 minutes away), I have a baby around his age, and the fact that she had such a huge support system in place. A babysitter, a mom who could help her, friends, other family. Even the neighbors said they would have helped her if she had needed it! I didn't really have anyone to turn to! I still don't! I haven't been out with my husband for years! I haven't been out of the house without at least one of my kids in years! I don't ever get away! I'm with them 365 days a year and yes it gets aggravating, but it's also rewarding! I am better off than her I have a husband to lean on. She had others to lean on. I remember being stressed out and just wanting to go to a darn movie when Katie was a baby and not being able to! I didn't have anyone to watch her for a couple hours! So I did what I had to, I stayed home and cared for her and you know what? I'm a better mom for it! I didn't miss ANYTHING of her life! I worked, sometimes over night shifts! I still picked her up from the baby sitter around 6:30 a.m. and having no sleep went home and stayed up with her till she would lay down for a nap and then slept when and as I could! Thankfully, I didn't have to work many of those over night shifts but I did! And i was working not partying! I hope she rots!

Cindihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06357714153500683596noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24432708499016748.post-41582214406170408272011-11-17T11:00:00.003-06:002011-11-17T11:04:19.852-06:00Kids :)<img style="display:block; You aren't just bullied cause of your color, nationality, level of iq and looks. You can be bullied for many reasons, sometimes we don't know why or how bullies pick their victims. Sometimes even adults bully not only other adults but also children as well. My daughter Emelina is one of those stories.

Things were fine till she started school, but isn't this the way it goes? In kindergarten I guess the others realized she was different and Emelina is Emelina it's the only way I can really say about who Emelina really is. She's a little overweight, very sensitive and usually happy. But her reaction to things is probably what gets her bullied the most. She, like her mom, wears her heart on her sleeve. She doesn't hide things like other kids and doesn't really know how I don't think.

For example, Monday, she came home all upset because another girl flicked her off. Let's call her Tonya. Well, Emelina sat down in her seat next to her sister Hailey, when Tonya called Emelina's name and then just flicked her off! For no reason, and this child is 5! She is learning this stuff from her big sister Samantha. Samantha, used to be friends with Emeliina. Now she calls her a looser, fatty, whore, and other things I'm not even sure she knows what the words even mean. Kind of bold considering she's a tiny little thing and well Emelina isn't and will hit her and probably knock this kid on her butt! I talked to Hailey after Emelina left to take a bike ride to calm down. Hailey confirmed that her sister didn't do anything. Emelina tried to tell the bus driver and she proceeded to tell Emelina to sit down and shut up!

The bus driver, Maggie (sorry miss maggie lol had to change the names), is another one of the bullies. She allows, the other kids to do or say what they want and doesn't do anything about it. She's, had something out for my kids for years. We can't stand her! I don't know if it's cause they are hispanic or what but she picks on 3 out of 5 of my kids! None of the other kids have issues on the bus like mine. They get into trouble for doing things they aren't supposed to. she calls Emelina, Emily. She calls Hailey, Hillary. And she calls Katie, Katherine! Not even close!! But she knows the other kids names!

Yesterday, a little boy in Emelina's class said something to her as they got on the bus's. Emelina got really mad and slapped at the seat, missing the seat and accidently hitting this kid. She apologized to him since she didn't mean to hit him. He went and told mean old Maggie that Emelina did it on purpose, and now Emelina has to go to the principals office this morning! Now she doesn't deny hitting him, but it was accidental. Again confirmed by Hailey. She hit his knee, trust me if this kid meant to hit him it would have been his face. I know my daughter. Of course, she's the one getting into trouble even though he started it and said something to her. Emelina doesn't get mad for nothing and yes she should be in trouble but so should this kid.

Emelina told me yesterday that she hates going to breakfast and lunch. The kids all stare at her and it makes her uncomfortable. She said the adults do it like they are waiting for her to say something or do something to another child there. I always feel this way at this school. We aren't rich, actually pretty poor and they have called the state on us cause they don't have brand new clothes and such. Told them we don't feed these kids, and that I don't do laundry as well! Uhmmmmm, isn't that the machine I hear running in the other room!? I do about 4 loads a day average. They always have clean clothes, and who cares if we go to thrift stores and the free store. I don't buy crap clothes from these places. I only get things that are clean, look good and fit them. They have gotten lice from school and we've had to deal with this quite a bit in the past. Of course, it's always my kids that bring it to school. Uhmmm, really? Ok, maybe once or twice but where do you think they got it? They aren't allowed out of the house anymore and the lice has been gone for a while now so where is it coming from? duh, nurse, said they are clean!!!!

Hailey, doesn't get bullied as much but the kids her age around here don't want to play with her. She's got some issues and isn't on the level where she should be. But they aren't cruel to her. But with Emelina they sure are. Emelina was playing at the neighbors house the other day with a boy who is about 2 years younger than herself. They get along fine and we've never had problems there. All the sudden, Tonya comes up and tells her I can't play with you, you need to go home and sat there and said a bunch of mean things to her! Well I don't think so! Emelina was there first and if she can't play with her than she needs to leave!

Emelina went to another friends house the other day in the back of the trailer park to play and the 2 girls she was trying to play with were screaming at her. They told her she has lice and is nasty. She's clean, no lice, clean clothes, doesn't stink or anything else. It's Tonya and Samantha that have it and have been told by another parent here that my kids are always welcome. Why, cause when a lice breakout was happening she checked, every kid that came over. My 2 were the only ones clean!!!! Hers as well. She apologized to me but said that she felt she had to do this so her girls would remain clean. Not a problem for me. She said that Tonya came over and was infested. Later that same day Tonya was outside playing with all the kids out here but mine and the other 2 little ones and hadn't been treated!

Emelina, isn't physically bullied yet but that's coming. Right now, she's bigger than the other girls so that is probably why. But she comes home crying everyday almost, and it seems like I'm always having to soothe her. Emelina is very tenderhearted and gets upset very quickly and I'm sure this is a big reason. The girls all call her nasty, piggy, fatty, looser, and so much more. It makes me want to go out there and beat their arses! Of coruse, as an adult I can't. I've tried talking to the parents and teachers and it goes no where. The school has a zero tolerance policy and of course it doesn't work. The girls teasing her all are mean and nasty themselves. I dont' know how to stop any of this. Went through it myself. Sorry if we are poor and can't afford name brand clothing, sorry if we don't look like you with your white porcelin skin (other than my white self), sorry that Emelina is heavier (trust me we are trying to work on that one), sorry that she's not the same as every other kid out there.

So, today if the principal calls me. Well he's going to have a fight on his hands. I'm tired of this and will be telling him everything and if the harrassment on the bus, from the driver and kids, and the bullying at the school doesn't stop I will continue to go higher with the district. It seems they are always watching my girls. Even Katie, being at a different school. Seems like they always think that the bully's are the perfect ones. No none of my kids are perfect. They'll talk smack at you quicker than you can blink an eye but they don't normally do it first. Emelina was wrong in smacking at the seat yesterday and we did tell her that. If she hadn't done that she wouldn't have actually smacked that boys knee. But, she got mad and didn't know what to do with the anger either. I'm tired of the tears, anguish, anger, and plain old confusion as to why they do this to them. I want to move out of this district so bad, but we can't. Last year when Danni (girl), cussed Emelina out I went up to the school and she lied and got off scott free when I had a few witnesses even adults that backed my story! another case of bullies gone wild. They say they don't allow this type of behavior but I don't believe it.

There is more but I'll have to leave that for another day.

Cindihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06357714153500683596noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24432708499016748.post-12995388492305237392011-09-27T14:19:00.005-05:002011-09-27T14:29:24.132-05:00Bullying

This is my sweet baby Emelina! She's 8 years old and in 3rd grade. I'm pretty upset with things with her. She's a good kid who loves to be with others. She's a bullied kid. Kids call her fat, jerk, ugly, stupid, looser and so much more. Sometimes, you just want to go postal on these kids and then you remember that they are children. So where is the parents? Why aren't they teaching their children right from wrong? More, on this story tomorrow. I'm going to write Emelina's story. All of it. It needs to be told and people need to see what is wrong.

love you miss Emelina!

Mom

Cindihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06357714153500683596noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24432708499016748.post-51575127712711733042011-08-27T21:41:00.002-05:002011-08-27T21:44:27.937-05:00Quickie

The storms have been crazy! The rivers are high. 1600 lost their homes or have to piece them together again. More will be lost in the flooding that's already happening. Please say some prayers for these people. Two of them happen to be my elderly grandparents. We were scared there for a bit but they are fine just shook up.

My foot has been bothering me as well. Same thing happened in October. Apparently i'm having a flare up! They said this is a common problem with RA. Well great. So now i'm on vicodin for pain and i have to go out and buy an expensive pair of running shoes for better support. They work better than inserts and my other shoes fit perfectly so they'd be to small with inserts. This is fun huh? Vicodin just seems to make me loopey lol. Pain isn't gone it's just taking the edge off. But i can walk on the foot again with the edge being gone. We'll see how long this lasts.

Gah, can't things go right? Although the sun is out today, the kids are healthy some happy and I guess that's all we can ask for in life right?

Cindihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06357714153500683596noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24432708499016748.post-88238127217119244682011-04-11T09:06:00.003-05:002011-04-11T09:23:03.719-05:00A year of JJ

It was almost a year ago this little guy came into our lives. Just been busy creating and just hanging out with the kids. Ok, and I'm a tad bit obsessed with farmville! Gee thanks Linda! So much is going on. The kids are back in school, JJ is getting huge (my little bubba), Lily is a little stinker! It was a weird summer. Didn't really do anything thanks to the job situations but at least they are working right? That counts for something. It's harder for them now to find jobs. It's sad that two legal residents have the hardest time finding a job! They walk in the door and because of the color of their skin and nationality they get shoved right back out. Equal Opportunity my arse!

Anyway, Things have been ok. Katie went to Florida with her aunts this summer. I won't be saying much about that. She had a good time and a bad time and well that's all I'll say. But all in all she says, "I'm grateful no matter what happened because I'd never have seen that stuff and done those things if it wasn't for Aunt Kathleen and Aunt Linda" so she did learn something from it all :) Katie is now in 6th grade and thinking she is cool lol. Skating rinks, malls and movie time oh geez.

Hailey well she's Hailey, starting 2cd grade. She's got some rough road a head of her but well she'll make it. She always does.

Emelina well like Hailey is going into the 2cd grade. Actually they are in the same class. And boy is Emelina a character! Sometimes I wonder who she takes after...........

Lily will be 3 in less than 3 weeks! Can you believe that one? I sure can't :( she's getting big and is so addicted to Dora the explorer. Hope JJ isn't later on I'm getting a tad tired of "i'm the map, i'm the map, I'm the mapppppppppppp" grrrr

JJ is 5 months old. He sings, screams, smiles and is just a happy baby. Ok, screams is the wrong word but that baby is loud and loves to hear himself screech! lol He's a funny little guy.

Well that's about all. Don't have much more to say so i'm going to go play in psp :)

Cindihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06357714153500683596noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24432708499016748.post-7971102098614330792010-07-07T17:04:00.003-05:002010-07-07T17:19:32.892-05:00

Emelina and JJ, she loves this baby with every ounce of her being.
