Katie's Bday

Was a complete success! She went to school like she was supposed to. Had a wonderful day. Then she came home and she was pouting but what she didn't realize we had some thing for her. She got a really pretty purse :) Dad was thinking about getting her a dog, but we decided to wait for that. Not cause she's not responsible but we want to make sure we are 100% financially stable first. Especially after the last year or so. He's selling his iguana (anyone want to buy him he's 100.00 with everything he has coming with him lol) with that money we will give it to her for the dog. But last night after he got off we went to Walmart and gave her 20.00 to spend. That's a lot for a 10 year old lol. She got 3 different toys and was excited. So she got a cd, purse, hannah montana keychain, some lipglosses and 3 toys for her birthday. She also got somethings from her Aunt Kathleen and Grandma Grey. So she's got some more to do but she's saving that for when she gets her money from school lol. She wants a Nintendo ds and i explained to her that with those and the school money she'd have enough for the system and maybe daddy and I will get her a game. We can also trade in the advance games since they don't work on the ds and get her a ds game or two. She doesn't have the system any longer so it's stupid to get another advance when she can upgrade. It's sad though :( Well she's a big ten and we bought a gas grill to bbq today. It was a splurge but we figure it's an investment and we've been discussing this for a long long long time. But it came from our stimulus check (go Bush) so it was an investment and now i can bbq!! whooo ohooo lol well here is a pic :)
